hello i have an evotab tb1 which is only a opad n2 rebranded to be selled in the eu, i found already 3 rebrands of this mid but neither have support. i updated my mid from 2.1 to 2.2 but now my sound is dead, i can't hear a thing neither from the speakers or the headphones, and the volume in the mid is at maximum, and another issue is the wifi, when i try to start it it say: ERROR. can someone please help me with a proper rom that makes the sound work and the wifi? it is a rk2818 based with 4gb and 256 ram memory, with trackball 7" capacitive screen. thank you.

there is 2 or 3 model called ONN N2. which do you have, TR718D or TR718DC?
what file did you use to update to 2.2?

I don't really know which model is it all i know is that my mid is only an rebranded opad n2. It has a 7' capacitive display an USB host 2.0, an mini-USB conneector an audio jack connector, 3buttons power off back and menu, a blue glowing trackball, and firt it came from my supplier with 2.1 instaled and they posted on their web site an updaate to 2.2.1 that i downloaded and updated the mid... and now i ended up without internal sound and without wifi. In status my device name is m300, and no manufacturer appear. Now i have froyo 2.2.1_07-m-us20110711and kernel 2.6.25(v2.2_718dc(w8_r8)d2_rj_a18@0708) builb froyo master.eng.root.20110323.164551.

I can't believe it's capacitive... no capacitive model for ONN N2.

here is some info about resistive model variation.

I'm not sure your original rom was 718DC or 718D. try N2 2.2...2.6.25.rar (rom for 718D) or 718DC E8_R8 one.

please try from here: Index of /files/rk2818/mirror
line speed should be enough fast, but it may be too far from you
alcor files are for 718D model. as far as I know it's latest one for 718D.

you need to use proper kernel.img for your tablet. but you can use any boot.img/system.img. boot.img/system.img for W8_R8 is latest(v2.21_00.11-M_CN@20110819).
I tried kernel.img from alcor and boot.img/system.img from W8_R8. it's fine on my ONN N2 718D model.

I have an Evotab TB1 too and the problem is almost the same ... The Wi-Fi will not start ...
Can you please re-upload the image that you used to solve this problem?
