I recently received a SYNET7LP, with Firmware DG2.01 on it. First off, SlideME 3.5 crashes... and here's the funny part, nothing installs, and I'm given an "Out of Space" error. Not even upgrades will install on this. Tried a factory reset, and there's no image, and I can't seem to actually "find" the rom image to at least upgrade/restore. Help?

/yes, the links provide good resources... but no files/links to the files.

Welcome!

Please identify the Hardware ID "hwver" as that will determine which is the appropriate file/link to direct you to for an infoTM Update Wrap (IUW).

Step 1 in http://www.androidtablets.net/forum...date-synet7lp-sytabex7-android-2-2-froyo.html will provide you with the "hwver"

Step 2 in http://www.androidtablets.net/forum...date-synet7lp-sytabex7-android-2-2-froyo.html will allow you to query the update server for the link to the most recent update file.

If no update file is identified, the server can be manually checked using previously known file names identified in this post Sylvania infoTMIC Update Wrap (*.ius) files & Wrap Information.

The links to the update files all follow the same pattern when you concatenate the various parts together.

"http : //222.73.93.45/update/" + the results from /proc/cmdline where hwver=##.#.#.# + "/" and the file name *.ius.

This results is something like this where hwver=11.6.1.5

Code:
http://222.73.93.45/update/11.6.1.5/11.2.1.5.2.0_beta4.ius

I've started to see this out of space error too (despite uninstalling lots of apps). I'm beginning to wonder if I should switch from the disgo firmware to the sylvania firmware. It seems a little unstable this release of 2.2 disgo put on here...

I managed to fix mine. I found the /mnt/sdcard partition had filled up due to downloads and titanium backup using it. I deleted these and now everything is installing again!

I found out the problem through Sylvania customer "support..." it's a brick. The ROM is damaged.
