does this actually overclock or does it just scale down the CPU frequency. I have not tried it as of yet but I thought we needed a custom kernel to overclock. some one correct me if I'm wrong.

From what understand the A500 and other mobile devices are under clocked when the are released to increase the battery life.

This does not overclock the chip, but brings the chip up to full potential.

All I can say programs load much faster and when playing Let's Golf, it loads the next holes much quicker! I also like how you have triggers, so you can under clock way down, while the unit is asleep. We'll see how that helps battery life.

What type of speed gains have eveyone been able to achieve? The stock sped is 1ghz but I always wonder why not 1.2 like the atrix? Also any comment on battery drain while overcloecked?
