Overide volume settings on a tablet?

I have a Trio tablet with android. I only use it with earphones and most of thetime it works fine. But when I amsomeplace like a shopping mall the volume is not loud enough to hear over thebackground noise even with the setting set on max[a1] imum. The earphones I have work fine as far asblocking out noise otherwise, it’s just in certain places that I have aproblem.

I haven’t been able to find any now, but ages ago I hadearphones that had a volume switch. Wouldsuch earphone amplify the tablet’s volume? Does anyone know where I could buy new earphones that have a volumesetting?

Generally earphones with a volume switch just lower the volume from the normal max, rather than raise it above the max.
