I have a pandigital tablet and the power button has broken, yes I voided the warranty by opening it but all i need to do is replace the part but I have no idea what it is. I have a picture and have circled two of the components that use the same thing, I just really need your help finding out what it is so i can go and replace it. Here is the link to the image, I have circled or more like put a square around both of them http://img191.imageshack.us/img191/8750/photovvo.jpg I COULD REALLY USE YOUR HELP

buy one on ebay (with a broken screen) and you will have all the parts you need to repair yours.

You will need a 25 watt iron from radioshack to replace the switch. It is right on the edge of the board. (pending what model you have)

First unplug the battery.

Add solder to the four joints on the switch at the board. This will heat up the solder joints and free up the switch for removal.

clean up solder from board.

Hold switch in place with a pencil and solder the four joints. (keep it clean and minimal solder)

You will need some good reading glasses to do this repair.
