Password Not Working - How To Reset To Factory Settings?

I set up a password for my new Ainol Novo 7 Basic tablet, and now the password does not work. I can't do anything with this tablet. Can I reset it somehow with the factory settings without a password, or is this just a piece of junk now that I spent money on? I bought it from China, so I doubt I will be able to send it back.

Any suggestions?

I just had to do this with some trepidation not knowing what would happen.....go to settings/ privacy/ factory data reset. It should reboot to the original settings for when you first got it. BTW......I'm a tablet newbie too......good luck!
