I recently got the Acer Iconia A100 for Christmas and everything seems to work fine, but for some reason my computer won't detect it when I plug it in. I downloaded and installed the A100 driver and when I plug it in my computer makes the usual USB plug in noise, except it does it 3 times in rapid succession then nothing happens, and it's not listed on the list of connected devices.

you have to tell the tablet to connect as well as the pc. You should see a little icon or something that shows you have plugged the USB cable into something on the tablet. Click on that, and then select Connect as USB. That should fix your problem.

And welcome to the forum!

When I plug in the USB on the tablet it asks if I want to turn on USB sync so I can sync data. I click ok then it says USB debugging connected and my PC still doesn't detect it.
