pink tinge screen

I purchased my Vizio tablet from Costco in December. Lately the background of my screen appears to have a pink tinge. Has anyone else had this and what does it mean?

I dont have this issue but I am interested in learning more about it sense I have a vizio tablet and do not want this to happen to mine. A couple of questions for you, is it rooted? are you using a home replacement/launcher?
