Please i need help with my Kyros 8024

Hi,

I am a android newbie and i just got my 8024.I was able so far only to install Skype on it.Can someone please tell me the easiest way to root it?Also is there a way to install Android Market without rooting it?

P.S. Is there something wrong with my display or it is normal to press it hard so it does what i want?

Watch this video, its for the 7022 but users with 8024's have commented saying this works,
