This is basically the same as this:
http://www.androidtablets.net/forum...13-cfw-mid7024-based-alldro2-gingerbread.html

Except that it runs from an external SD card without installing anything to your tablet.

Requirements:
-card reader
-4GB microSD card

Instructions:

Linux:
You can decompress and write the image at the same time with a command like:
Code:
gunzip -c CFW_alldro2_2.3-0.1_live.img.gz > /dev/sdX

Windows (not tested):
-Decompress file with 7zip or WinRAR (note, the decompressed file will be about 4GB since it's an exact image of a 4GB sdcard)
-Write the image to your sdcard using the Win32 image writer
http://launchpad.net/win32-image-writer/trunk/0.3/+download/win32diskimager-RELEASE-0.3-r27-binary.zip

To boot the firmware:
-Insert the microSD
-Turn on the power while holding the HOME button

No, this won't revive a hard brick, since it requires a working bootloader in the NAND
