As posted in another thread, my tablet's screen went white. Both Vizio telephone support and another Android expert suggested holding down both volume buttons and then the power button (at the same time). When the lights come on at the bottom (back, home, menu), let off on the power button. When the exclamation point comes on center of the screen, let off the volume buttons and press the home button.
It didn't work for me but maybe it will work for whatever ails yours. Maybe this is equivalent to a battery pull.
