Possible to remove voice search and google search(enhanced)?

I wanted to kno if it is possible to remove the voice search (since it doesnt work) and google search (since i never have and never will use it). I noticed that they are always running, and i would like to remove them without hurting the gapps package. I am running stock ROM with rooted tablet clockwork installed. If this is possible plz let me kno. Also, I am pretty sure that a custom ROM will remove this, but i do not want a custom ROM yet. I will add one someday, but not right now.

I removed voice search without any problems. I left search since I do use it. If in doubt, rename the APK in system/app to make sure you get the right one.

Do u just uninstall like u noramlly would??? And if so what is the app called for the voice in the uninstall menu?
