predictive txt

Hi all, I am new to this forum and to android/tablets,
I realise this Q, has most likely been asked before but I was unable to find it.
I hate predictive txt and want to turn it of.
Where do I find the settings for this?
My tablet is a Samsung Galaxy Tab2 10.1 screen, currently running the factory programs.
any advice will be much appreciated.

I don't have your tablet, but in general it's in the keyboard settings (Settings > Language & Keyboard).
