Prime ROM! transformer

Hi guys!
I was searching for some cool roms for my Transformer (not prime) and i found sth like this: forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1251044

Is root needed to fully install this or any rom. Can i go back to my stock ROM without ROOT?

A custom rom overwrites your current rom so no root needed. And yes there are typically stock roms you can install to get back. Recommed you thoroughly read the instructions and make sure you have downloaded the files you need to get back to stock
