Problem with ADB and CM7 on mSD

Any help for this.
Im running CM7 (w/bluetooth) on my mSD and I can't get it to show up on my computer
to use ADB to sideload market. But if I boot without the mSD into my rooted 1.1 AN3 setup and plug into usb is shows in device manager with no problem and ADB sees it.

Device manager for CM7 setup shoe B&Nebook (twice)
Device manager for AN3 setup shows Nookcolor

any thoughts on this problem or work around?
