Purchase Protection

I have a 5 year old that uses my tablet...eg. angry birds ect... Now my issue is that alot of these games have ads & murchandise, alot of these items are set up to be easily pressed or look like part of the game, I have read previous threads in regards to turning the wi-fi OFF, or supervise......Sometimes this just isnt possible. With my partners Ipod any purchases MUST have passwords to access credit card payments, why doesnt this occur with the Andriod system......Or is there an APP that will protect from this.

When you get the 3.2.1 update, the new version of the market will have password protection for purchases, but that's just for apps and things being bought out of the market. I'm not sure about anything else.

Get in the habit of leaving it in airplane mode when you set it down.
You know enough to turn that off when you want to read the mail.

Angry birds plays better in wifi mode anyway. No stupid ads popping up.

Give Kid Mode a try, is an app that is supposed to keep stuff you don't want your kid to access locked or inaccessible for them.
