Does anyone know of a fool proof method of unlocking the boot loader on ICS without rolling back to HC?

I've tried every method on XDA (except the rollback) without luck

Maybe a stupid question I ask anyway. Did you update via the OTA or did you get ICS from XDA?

As I said just a question.

Until this current time, I don't know of a direct solution. You'll have to roll back to HC, download the xda update and follow their instructions how to root the tablet. The XDA version is not, as far as I know, an ACER release.
