it does not go past the two guys on the broomstick leaving the screen on the right handside. i can not see tablet contents when plugged into laptop. there does not seem to be a reset button, or is there? but where? how to wipe and reset this tablet so it can be used again? it is only a few months old. where can i find drivers? How to wipe this thing?
If it's only a few months old then it's new old stock, because Android 4.0.x is six years old now. Power and a volume up may be able to reset the tablet, as that key combination should take you to the device's recovery partition, which should have an option for a factory reset. Drivers should be the standard Android drivers, which can be downloaded from Google. If you're in the US you can get an inexpensive Wal*Mart-branded (Onn) tablet for about $70. It will be far more current than this device.
Thank you for looking into this. No not any button will do anything. The device is totally bricked shut.
