QUESTION regarding wifi

i can't connect to the internet through wifi. what is wlan.ko?? under my etc/wifi/. only hostpad.conf and wpa_suuplicant.conf is under it. when i opened the update.zip i found wlan.ko under wifi which is about 7 mb. should i extract this to my tablet's etc/wifi? should this fix the problem? or just leave it the way it is coz doing that will only brick my tablet.

It won't hurt. However, one of the following things is more likely:

• The router is not properly configured.
• The tablet has an issue with its WiFi, notable by it not having good range.
