I found a "one click root" which is safe and works great on my reader! It can be found as an app. ALSO I found a compatible CPU overclock alternative! My CPU is currently set at 800mz and running smooooooth! I will post if anyone is interested.

i am very interested in the overclock, i already have it rooted, i just need to overclock mine

I used conf.user. for the overclock. Z4root for one click root. Omg. Tested it over 40 times just don't under clock follow the directions thoroughly. I must say to to use at your own risk. But it did work for me.
