I am only a newby when it comes to tablets and I only received my Ramos w27 yesterday, but this may help, to change clock and date, go to settings and scroll to the bottom of the list and tap on date and time and you should be able to set your date and time.
If you are referring to the large apps picture that are on the start page, these on mine took up about half the page and showed chinese time and weather, after many hours of searching I tapped and held on this picture, just above same picture a remove message came up I then dragged the picture over the remove, the colour changed to red, removed finger and the picture was no more.
