"Recent Tasks" at startup

After I do a full shut down and restart the NC it goes through the standard android startup where you see the little android guy with no problems. But after I slide to unlock the screen turns black and in the top left corner it says "recent tasks:"

I hit the home button and all is well so ti doesnt look like it's messing anything up. But does anyone know how to stop this?

This sounds like the soft key app. Go to app drawer and click on soft let - you can change settings there. Its been a long time since I used it but I think you uncheck start service
