Hi,
Awaiting arrival of my NC and just want to clarify -

I am in Australia, so to register at B & N i need to use a US address, so can use 'any old' address and then use my credit card and the 2 won't be cross checked. Is this correct?

Do i need to use something like hot spot shield so that it will appear i have a US ip?

After registration, i can then just use the nook to access my account and buy books or do I need to do it with pc and vpn each time?

Sorry if this has been covered before, but i could not find it.

Thanks for any help

I don't think the ip matters but you may need a US credit card/address. There was a post similar to this for a Canadian but I believe they had US payment access. Not sure they posted the end result though.

B&N recognizes only Us Ip addresses so your can't purchase unless you have one but:
1-you can set up aVPN that makes it look like you are shopping from an IP address inside the US
2-you can have a friend logging into your US account and shopping for you and then sync over WiFi.
The reason of all this is that B&N is not licensed to sell copyrighted works outside the US.
Hope I helped
