Removing downloads

can anyone please tell me how to remove downloads from Acer Iconia Tablet

This is how it works with the Sony S so it should be the same with your Acer since they are both Honeycomb;

Go to the upper right hand corner of your screen and click on "Apps". Press and hold down the app you want to remove. A trash can will appear in the upper corner. Drag your app to it and you will be asked if you want to uninstall it.
