That is my question. I found a new browser and keyboard ..installed both and they are great.

    I am running 2.3 on a new Haipad M8.

Thing is I like a clean house. How can I get rid of the original apps. It has a kill switch ..but no removal ..no un-install.

Do they just stay there taking up space ..or am I missing something?

    Thanks

Until you get more comfortable and familiar with how android works, I would recommend just leaving them. Apps like that are cooked into the ROM, and we have a lot of users here that try to remove apps using various tools and methods and wind up crippling their devices or worse. There are ways to remove them, but they take so little space I would say try to just live with it. When you are ready to Root and Flash, then you can deal with getting rid of those pesky apps.
