HYUNDAI T7 7" IPS Screen Samsung Quad Core CPU 1.6GHz Tablet

Hyundai have released their new 7 inch addition about a month ago, the T7.

Hyundai packs the Galaxy S3's!! Samsung Exynos 4412 Cortex-A9 Quad Core Processor clocked at 1.6GHz and the Mali 400 Quad Core GPU.

This little powerhouse scored an impressive 14542 on Antutu Benchmark and the operation of the Android 4.0 Firmware seems flawless and very responsive.

The built-in GPS means that it can perfectly be used as a Satellite Navigation System for your car and not only.

The IPS 1280x800 screen produces crisp images and excellent video playback with vibrant colours. Battery life has not been tested but the 3.7V 3300mAh battery should give you a good 5 hours usage on medium to heavy use.

While its storage (8GB) is not its strongpoint, you can easily expand with a TF card as it has a built-in Micro SD card slot (reads max 32GB TF cards).

Hyundai continue to manufacture quality devices which feel great on the hand.

The Hyundai T7 is certainly included in our favourite latest 7 inch tablets as with its GPS, powerful CPU and beautiful screen you can't go wrong.

I've read quite a lot of very negative comments on this tablet on different Chinese online stores like 360buy and tmall, that the build quality of this device is really poor.
Although Hyundai is a well-known Korean brand, but it has been licensed to a Chinese company for producing digital devices, so you'd better know a few things about it before you make a purchase!

We haven't encountered any issues and the build quality is more than satisfactory and above average.. if you think about it, you will read negative comments even about the best tablet on earth! :)

The Hyundai T7 is made by Samsung. I've had it for a couple of months now and I use it everyday. The build quality is good.

Introducing Hyundai T7 - a sleek 7-inch tablet packed with the world's leading processor for tablets today: the Quadcore processor. And get this, it is not just any other Quadcore processor, the Hyundai T7 flaunts an Exynos 4412 chipset, the same processor you would find in the Samsung Galaxy S III. So basically, it is the same size with the Asus Nexus 7, but offers better performance and is more affordable.

Look and Feel
The tablet sports a sleek, elegant design very much similar to that of the Samsung Galaxy S3 model, only bigger.

Note: The scratches you see above are not directly on the tablet itself, but only on the screen protector of the tablet.

The front of the tablet features a 0.3 VGA camera, 1280 x 800 IPS LCD screen (which is a pretty nice treat as most cheap tablets normally opt for WSVGA screens) and the home button.

Flipping the tablet to its back would reveal a 2.0 megapixel camera which, by the way, comes with a flash. Also, just beside the camera is the tablet's speaker. Further, if you wish to extend the memory of your tablet, at the back is where you can find a plastic-covered mini compartment for the MicroSD.

Moving on to the edges of the tablet, one will find on its upper-right edge the power button, and just below it is the volume control for the tablet. The bottom edge of the tablet features a mic, USB port, 3.5 mm audio jack, HDMI port, charger port and Micro SD slot.

Just like the Nexus 7, the Hundai T7 has a thin proportion measuring only 196 x 118 x 10.9mm. The shell material is plastic making it lightweight (even lighter than a Nexus 7 tablet); nonetheless, despite its plastic shell material, it is actually very well-built and sturdy, not to mention the fact that it is very class.

Performance
While the Nexus also offers a Quad-core processor (1.2ghz) and 1 GB RAM, the Hyundai T7 on the other hand, offers a more advanced set of specs: a more powerful Quad-core processor (4412 chipset packs four Cortex-A9 cores at 1.4GHz), along with 2GB DDR3 of RAM and Mali 400 graphics - allowing it to give off a better performance than the Nexus 7 (which is, as of late, actually being hailed as one of the top tablet choices of gamers all over the world).

Running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, it has Google Play Store preloaded. Also, with its speed, graphics quality, and overall performance, it has proven itself capable of running most of the apps from the Play Store.

Connectivity
The Hyundai T7 supports several connections via Wi-fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and while it does not have 3G built-in, the Hyundai T7 does support certain external 3G dongle models so if you happen to have one of them and you wish to connect to the internet via a 3G connection, you can do so by plugging it in your Hyundai T7 tablet.

II. Wrap Up
The most important compontent of the Hyundai T7 is its Quadcore processor. It has Samsung’s Exynos 4412 chipset which is basically the same processor you will find in the Samsung Galaxy S III. It also sports the same thin proportions of the Nexus 7, but the Hyundai T7 is lighter than the Google tablet. More importantly, it even performs better than the Nexus 7.

To wrap things up, I would say that for its low price of $164.99, the Hyundai T7 is definitely going to be a wise buy. Everything about the Hyundai T7 is great, most especially so because the name Hyundai, being the brand name of one the most top of the line cars in most parts of the world right now, has a competitive advantage already since clients all of ages especially the young professionals and the top A and B market can easily have the name recall and make Hundai a byword for tablets and other kinds of gadget.

On top of that, having the feature of the Samsung III, any company that would distribute this to Manila and around the Philippines and South East Asia would not find it difficult to penetrate the market especially if massive public relations and advertising campaigns will be used to have it launched.

Hyundai T7 with all its features and applications can easily beat the competition.

The built quality of the Hyundai T7 is actually pretty impressive. The shell material used is only plastic, making it feel lightweight in the hands of the users. Nonetheless, despite the plastic shell material, the Hyundai T7 is actually very well-built and sturdy.

The Hyundai T7 in fact is one of the best tablets I have ever gotten my hands on so far (my review). It is very much affordable, and since it has the same features with the Samsung Galaxy SIII, it is more advanced as compared to most tablets available in the market today. It could even easily beat more popular brand tablets like the Nexus 7. Moreover, it is even a lot more affordable than the Google purebred.
