There will be no private beta test the 2.5.5 will be a public release as there will be no need to beta test! Huurrrraaayy!!

This release will simply be to unify and provide updates from google to to the release and drivers.

The changelog currently contains
* New BusyBox time for the future!
* Android 4.0.4-SVN in other words the latest version from Google.
* APEX Launcher returns its simply better....
* SD to MicroSD patch works!
* File Manager Updates
* New ZIP Alignment
* Auto battery fix on flash ( runs a bash script )
* QuickPic
* Task Manager
* Lower voltage attempts

As always light elf is made with the user in mind, we try to achieve stability and the ability to still enjoy cutting edge games on a relatively expired tablet, none the less the elf 2 is a fast device 2nd to the 3066.

I installed Elf Light on my grandson's Elf II, the links for gapps are broken or deleted from your site. Can you point me to the right gapps for his Elf II with 2.53 working great. Some of his games authenticate thru the Play Store to be played.
Dual display works great for him too.

The link on the orignal page works fine in firefox

You must click download after entering the password gapps pressing enter will not work, also some ad blocking scripts have caused issues in the past.

Thanks for the report can you run some form of logger or debugger and post them so we can see why its having an issue?

Perhaps the 2.5.5 open public version will have better luck with updated libraries, it will be online tomorrow.

Thanks but all I have been getting is an empty zip file called gapps-ModX-signed.zip with no files in it. With gapps for 3.0 I just get redirected to the 3.0 rom page i was on, no file will download.
