Issues:

  • Flash Player does not work with FF4
  • Still a uber touchy screen.

Changes to note:

  • SDCARD/SDCARD2 to EMMC/SDCARD

Just finished installing the ROM and GAPPS. First boot time was around 3 mins, then normal when flashing the GAPPS. Looks good, connected to my WiFi immediately, UI elements are interesting.

Sent from my HTC Thunderbolt using the Android Tablet app!

Do you have root access? I sure don't and I don't see anyone finding a fix on XDA.

I can still boot into recovery, but does not look like it.

I got to talk to the dev about the ROM. He is actively working on a fix to get the ROM rooted. Should have it in the near future.

I must say though that this is my all time favorite ROM. Once the root issue is fixed. I will be running this one permanently.

Updated issues.

  • Crazy touchy screen. Hard to scroll through the app drawer without selecting an app.
  • Flash Player does not work. (Tried Firefox, Dolphin HD and the stock browser)

TJ put out a updated ROM. Visit the XDA thread (the first post for the link) for the updated ROM download.

You have to install Flash Player yourself from the Market.

Fuganater, perhaps your wish is granted. Just found this and please let us know what you think. Still waiting for the 2nd gTab delivery.

Best,

P.S. It doesn't seem to address your concern about 'Crazy touchy screen. Hard to scroll through the app drawer without selecting an app'.

Hey there kids :) As I am waiting for the SEVEN tabs I unnecessarily bought I am looking to tear it up some. What's the consensus after a couple days of use?

So now into the second flash of this ROM and one full day of work use of the ROM.

First off:
Wicked fast bootup time, snappy transitions, great loading of apps and management seems much better.
Root access is there
Battery usage is marginally better
UI elements are nice, but nothing that made me just go Wow

Bad news....my quadrant score is now a 1590...down from 2200...

Still..looking good, and runs well. Certainly am glad i tried it, but I think I am going to go back to my bekit ROM

This ROM is amazing! I got a score of 2107 on Quadrant Standard. IDK why yours was so low Peter.

The ROM is crazy fast now.
Root access is fixed like Peter said.
Fully working Android Market. All apps install fine. Very few are not listed.

I ported the GMail app from my Droid 2 and it works great!

More to come with more testing.
