update to official froyo first if you are using eclair.
if you are using brasilian froyo, update to others froyo first (not tested with brasilian baseband)
if you are using any froyo system others then brasil, continue these steps:

Works with Brazilian 2.2.1 rom.
But I miss some of the emotion widgets...

you can try install more locale from market, and for dictionary you can use multiling keyboard and plug in for spanish

processor speed 998 with default profile ondemand.

you can flash directly to v3 from any froyo build.

i have s7 slim and s7-trzmod-0.3 instaled and have three problems:
1. tablet don't recognize usb stick
2. in root explorer canont mount r/w permission
3. in terminal emulator for su command permission denied

I don't have S7 slim, so I can not answer for specific function on s7 slim.

root is working on my s7, except for some application like ron manager. you can reroot using gingerbreak, perhaps it needs to update su binary.

for USB stick, can you use terminal emulator, with your USB stick connected then enter this commands?

$ ls /sys/devices/platform/msm_hsusb_host.0

and this one

$ ls /sys/devices/platform/msm_hsusb_host.1

check which one that get output usb1
