Just want to say hello to all; been reading this forum for the past week and still trying to absorb as much as I can. I love tablet tech, and I'm not a fan of any particular side, but I will say, I am having a lot more fun with my rooted nook than I am with my iPad. I absolutely love tinkering the system to death - and now understand why people are crazy over droid.

Just a quick question and forgive me if it's obvious:

When I want to try out different Roms, do I always have to put CWR on an SD card and boot into recovery form there, or can I simply use Rom Manager?

Thank in advance

Edit: Just realized, this may be in wrong section.

Tech might have been better but you'll get answers here too. You don't always have to use CWR from a card, you can install it internally. Most around here like to use CWR instead of Manager since the potential issues seem to be less. Bascialy reboot into recover from manager and then proceed with flashing in CWR. It is all in the tech section if you have questions.

Welcome to the club.
