Root and tether

Have a sprint LG optimus that is rooted. Could not tether my tab, after last update tethering with rooted android phone and unrooted tablet is a OK. Just giving a heads up for others who want to do the same. I'm probably late in the game, but just in case...

Care to reword that? Its not clear if you Can or Can not tether, and whether it ceased or started working.
Its not clear if the update you refer to was for the phone or the tablet.
