Rooted, flashed rom...now have no root access :-/

I just got my new galaxy tab, rooted it and flashed "galaxy task" and now do not have root any more :-/ does this make any sence to any one? And what is the solution? Can i just install root.zip to regian access? And will i loose all my data?
