Rooting the Digix TAB730

The Digix TAB730 is sold at Radio Shack for around $99, and recently at Fry's for $78.
Comes with Android 4.0.4 with Google Play pre-installed by the Manufacturer
I am setting one up for someone.
Has anyone rooted this tablet successfully? What did you use?
