Running GPS Apps ?

Generally speaking the tablet should have GPS listed in the specs. Some tablets don't.

Yes any other requirements other than the tablet having the GPS receiver or any requirements to OS versions.

Depends on app, what app are you trying to run? some may require root others may require sensors, others may require modules.

There are some mainstream apps that will work on any tablet with the GPS hardware, (if the hardware is there the Android OS that came with it will support it at the firmware level). Look for Sygic, ofe the better apps, not free, or NavFree. There is also TomTom and CoPilot as options.

In the near future I plan on purchasing a tablet and wanted to make sure it would have GPS. As I understand it the tablet must have some sort of GPS sensor to run the available software.
