We have some intriguing news for you guys this morning that is not really Android or even mobile related, yet is definitely worth sharing. In case you were unaware, Samsung and LG have been engaged in a bitter patent fight over OLED technology. Both sides had accused each other of stealing the technology. However, rather than drag things out in court, which wastes company and taxpayer time and money, both parties are planning to come together in peace to handle their differences outside of the courtroom. Here's a quote with some additional detail,

It's being reported that the pair have come to an agreement to work out their OLED patent issues away from the harsh light of the courtroom. Korea's Yonhap News is claiming that a peace summit was held at a Seoul hotel, with Samsung's Kim Ki-nam saying that the pair will resolve the issues "one by one."

It's refreshing to see two companies try to work out their differences in a peaceful manner instead of waging war in the courts. If they are able to get everything worked out, it could be proof positive that Apple's "thermonuclear" war on Android was a flawed strategy to begin with.
