Vodafone Portugal has revealed the pricing for a March release of the Honeycomb equipped Samsung Galaxy 10.1, at €699. There is also a report that the contract pricing is €349. The pricing is no surprise when compared to other Honeycomb tablet releases.

700€ looks OK. Based on where the original 7" Galaxy Tab started here in Europe, I was woried it would be more.

Very normal here in Europe.
Apple iPad 16 GB Wifi = ~700 USD
Apple iPad WiFi 3G 64GB (without a contract) = ~1100 USD
Samsung Galaxy Tab 7" (without a contract) = ~775 USD

Danish prices.
A tablet like Xoom or Galaxy 10.1 for under 1000 USD sounds like heaven to me...

Agreed! Also in Denmark, and am really hoping they keep the price below $1000, forget the $600-700 US price. Don't forget we have a different taxing system in Europe. We pay lots more tax but get free national health, cover when you are unemployed, etc. It's nice, and it works.

However I'll will still buy one of these the minute I am state-side :D Can't wait! Tegra & Honeycomb look AMAZING IMO.
