Samsung Galaxy Note 12.2: Render Of Concept Tablet Leaked Online, Model Dubbed SM-P900 Is Huge Device Arriving End Of 2013

The Samsung Galaxy Note 12.2 is an Android tablet that the Android Community reports should be coming out before before the end of the year. Android Community stated that the device was filed under the model number SM-P900 which hints that the android tablet will probably be S-pen enabled.
Despite being absent on a majority of Samsung’s other 10.1in tablets, the render on the Android Community site shows that the Samsung Galaxy Note 12.2 will have a physical home button on its forward facing surface right at the bottom. This has so far only been on its smartphones, some of the phablets and the 8in tablets.
Android Community also reported that the tablet would come with an LCD display of 2560 by 1600 WQXGA. Despite not having an actual photo, the Android Community believes that the Samsung Galaxy Note 12.2 brings out the truth in the rumors of Samsung releasing a 12in tablet. A tablet of this size will be a first from Samsung.

The tablet’s width may require some getting used to. For example, you’ll probably want to switch to a thumb-friendly split keyboard layout on a tablet that measures somewhere around 12.7 inches wide. Still, if so many consumers liked the increased size of the original Galaxy Note, there’s no reason to think that they won’t be just as interested in a 12.2-inch tablet. At least that’s what Samsung is probably thinking.
This new Galaxy is going to be a solid performer, thanks to an Exynos 5 octa-core processor. The biggest selling point will likely be the 2560 x 1600 display it’s said to be packing. At 12.2 inches, that still works out to 247ppi — not quite as sharp as the iPad. Then again, you probably won’t ever hold the 12.2-inch Galaxy tablet close enough to your face to notice, when you’re doing normal Android tablet things like gaming, browsing, or watching videos.
