sd card not being detected

I recently got a coby mid7035 tablet and put my 2gb memory card into it it worked well at first but then one night after i had put an app onto it my tablet started saying sd card unmountted,empty or not present and when i when to check storage settings shut down and now my tablet is not hooking up to the laptop. I tried resetting my tablet buying a new memory card,formatting it please help.

If your tablet isn't being seen by the laptop, you may have no option but to exchange your tablet.

The app didn't damage the tablet and it's nothing more than a coincidence that the problems.occurred after install. Your tablet is defective and I would exchange it.
