If I have sync'd movies to my device but then transfer them to an SD card and the Sd card becomes corrupt(forcing me to reformat) will I be able to resync or do I lose my Sync rights because I have already used it? Sorry that is more of a sync rights question but I can't find the answer anywhere on the internet.

I think maybe you lose your sync rights. You'd better to send it to special shop to repair it,avoding breaking it.

Instead of transfering your movies to a SD Card have you thought about streaming them? There is a really excellent application, Skifta that let you stream all you media betweeen Computers, Tablets, mobile phones and Wifi enabled Flat screen TV's.

This should take care of your "sync rights"

You can read about Skifta in the February issue of It-Depots newsletter: Find Past Issues of IT-Depot Android Newsletter here
