hai,,i just wanna share this trick to all of you..

first..goto es file explorer-settings-root settings-check root explorer and mount file system

back look for the system folder-etc folder-edit this one vold.fstab

u can see the first one have sdcard/mnt/sdcard and the second one ext_sd/mnt/ext_sd

swap it..mke the the first one into ext_sd/mnt/ext_sd and the second one sdcard/mnt/sdcard


save it..

restart your tab. and check the storage..enjoy..

Editing vold.fstab only works on the following tablets: 7042, 8042, 9042, 9742, 1042, 1045. Attempting this trick on any other Generation 3 tablet will result in the internal storage being rendered non-functional and may require the end user to return their tablet for exchange.

Hi I am new to the tablet forum but have been on the phone forum for some time .I have been attempting to make this change about five times I have made the changes in es file explorer and made the changes just as you said and then saved and when I reboot the tablet goes into a bootloop until I restore. I have a 8042 4 rooted and cwm installed and have nandroid backups

Thank you I found the problem was the spacing I had sorry my mistake
