Should I root?

I have a 7015, my main concern is functionality, but I don't like how 2.1 is excluded on a lot of apps. Does rooting require more management? Does it make it more unstable or open to security threats? Is it worth the bother for a casual user? Thanks

of course its worth it. yes, root it. and if there is an app you want that you cant find, google the apps name with 'apk download' in the search query. If the app wont work in your android version it will tell you and or wont install. Id do some research on which root tool to use but id use a non flashing root utility such as gingerbreak to root the device.
