Skype on the Le Pan TC970

Hi all,
I am getting fairly frustrated and could use some help.

By default, Skype does not recognize the front-facing camera of the Le Pan (Froyo's fault?)

There a hacked version of Skype that fixes it:

However, the screen keeps flickering.

How can you solve the flickering problem of Skype? Or is there another way around thats?

The flickering goes away after about 20 seconds for me, and the other person never sees it. This is with the latest version of Skype from the market...
