Well I finally decided that now that the price of this tablet is down to $119 I'd give it a try. All was well until I applied a system update from the Settings tab. It said it updated to F/W v. 2.02. There are a lot more apps on the home screen now, but the system response is awful. It takes literally two seconds before it registers taps on the screen.
Any ideas on what's causing this or how to fix?
BTW - thanks to another thread here for dicovering that the thing wants to go to China for its updates. I have all of *.cn blocked in my router and couldn't figure out why it kept saying "update failed" until I saw that.
