I'm super excited. We (wife and I) ordered our Nooks yesterday. She got the original (for some odd reason ) and I got the NOOKcolor. Oh, I can't wait to get it into my hands!

Tell her to keep her receipt and packing materials so she can return that Nook once she sees what your NC can do after you root it.. You will be rooting it, right?

My advice is to follow the tut's to a "T" and you should have no issues rooting it. The people in here have been awesome at writing them and helping people out with issues.

I will second that, Handy Smurf seems much more appropriate. IMHO
However I don't like where this is going for me. Local Smurf, Smurf Stain? IDK.

I like to think of myself as Gonzo, but the HST variety.
