Sylvania Sytab10ST Won't Download?

I picked this thing up used, for the single purpose of installing Picasa so that I could work with photos out in the field, as it were, instead of waiting to get home. But every time I try to download it appears to start, then I get 'download unsuccessful'. Is something stopping this? I'm such a dummy with these things that it's probably something simple, but I can't figure it out. I just picked up a Zeki 7" for the same purpose, and I have a feeling I'm going to get the same thing. So... I'm hoping it's an easy fix....

Try a different browser from an App Store. I like Dolphin. The stock Browser has done download issues sometimes.
