BTW, I meant MAC AirPort. Are there any experienced Mac people out there? I am beyond frustrated at this point. I've set up my Air Port on my Mac OS to share the connection with my Next2 (i.e. my rip-off product) and the tablet scans, connects and then drops the connection. DO I need to tweak the settings on the mac? This is what I have done. ----> system preferences -----> Internet Sharing ------> Share connection using Ethernet -------> To computers using Air Port ----> Air Port options- I've secured the connection by enabling encryption WEP. I've tried both a 40-bit WEP key legnth AND 128-bit. I've left the network open. Neither worked. Can I use any character combination as a WEP password? Do I need to add $ at the beginning or anything Mac-y that I, being Mac illiterate to a point, don't know about? I then wondered if I needed to enable Bonjour and "advertise" the Air POrt domain. NOTHING. How do I do this? There has to be a way? Is it the Mac or my tablet? Please help me before I completely lose my mind. Thank you so much, I selected "automatic for the channel.
Have you tried connecting the tablet to another wep connection. I know that the zt-180 had to have a certain rom before it could connect to wep. Or can you change your router to wpa2 and try it
