Tab 7.7 connecting to Win 7

Hello everyone

I hope someone can help with the following please:

I am trying to connect Samsung Tab 7.7 to my Acer. It does connect via USB but shows up in Windows Explorer as a "Portable Device". Is there anyway/option to connect as a "Hard Drive" (with allocated drive letter).

really that is the hard drive. it acts like a hard drive. no worries it is normal. if you cant browse to it install Kies.

Welcome to the forum

No, you can't map a drive letter. As the previous post mentioned, it is, in fact, a portable device. It will never look like a computer.
