Tablet and 3G SIM

Hi all, might seem like an obvious question but I remembered that I have a spare 3G SIM so thought I might try it in my Jelly Bean tablet - so, should I just be able to pop it in the slot and it work?

Sorted, the manual doesn't show that clearly which way the SIM goes in, but I've found more detailed information elsewhere.

You should check out if your tablet can support SIM card.At the moment, most of the tablets cannot put SIM card.

I have a Fujitsu M532 3G tablet which does support it, however now installed the tablet recognises it and see's all the phone networks but won't connect to O2. I've checked with O2 and there's no reason that it shouldn't connect, but it won't.
