tablet and wifi

I purchased a tablet and a wireless router..It tells me that is is connected, but I cannot browse the web, it just tells me that the page cannot be found? any ideas?

Do u have local and internet or just local access? Maybe refresh modem n router

I have Time Warner Cable internet and a wireless router (which I just installed). However, I cannot get onto the internet on my main pc after installing the wireless also.

I would call time Warner. They were very helpful. Once you get the PC connected I think the wireless will work.
