Tablet Doesn't Boot Past Android Screen

The tablet came in a white box with android and Tablet PC written on it. The only information we had with it is that it is an MID tablet, 7", running 4.0 and that we can dowbnload an APK (whatever that is?) from android.

The tablet worked at first but now, when the power button is pressed, tablet boots with android man, then android written across screen, but nothing else.

I have tried the suggestions on the thread re: pressing volume buttons/power button etc but no help.

Any suggestions veryvery welcome

It seems the tablet is an a13 MID if that helps anyone at all??

Hey, I'm not an expert at this at all, but I have the same problem with almost the same tablet. Did you try to find a new firmware and iisntalling it? I did't work me, but just try..
